BOSTON — On Tuesday, the WNBA will make history playing the first game at the TD Garden arena. At 7:00 PM E.T, The Connecticut Sun will face off against the Los Angeles Sparks. Unfortunately the game will not be streamed and is already sold out.

TD Garden broke attendance records with the first-ever Dunkin’ Women’s Beanpot earlier this year, and we are proud to keep the momentum immense support of women’s sport going”
The Sun were able to make it their fifth sellout of this season with 19,156 tickets sold, the largest amount of tickets sold to a Connecticut Sun game in franchise history.
“It’s about changing the narrative, and that’s what we wanted to do with this merchandise line. We are tired of saying no one watches women’s sports,” says Jessica Robertson. “Because frankly it’s not true anymore.”
Other than the game, the Sun itinerary is composed with a series of events leading up to their game. At the New Balance track, the Sun hosted their first youth sports festival with Meet Boston. Many more events are also yet to come for the Sun’s Boston festivities.
“We’re excited to introduce the WNBA and the whole Connecticut Sun to a whole new audience” Sun president Jennifer Rizzotti said.
The TD garden court will feature the Sun’s logo on the baskets and team merchandise for fans that are available to purchase.
