Kiyomi McMiller To Lead Team WHN In Red Bull 3×3 Tournament 🏀

NEW YORK – Incoming Rutgers University freshman Kiyomi McMiller is set to lead WHN’s Red Bull 3×3 team ahead of the August 17 start date. The game will take place at Happy Warrior Playground in New York City, New York.

McMiller is a five star recruit and five-foot-nine guard out of Burlington, New Jersey. She made history when she signed with Jordan Brand in 2023 and became the first high school athlete ever to sign an NIL deal with the brand.

In her final year at Life Center Academy, McMiller averaged 30.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.8 steals per game.

McMiller closed out her high school career just a few months ago, amassing 2,015 points, 437 rebounds, 363 assists and 231 steals in 70 games across a three-year period.

When Rutgers announced McMiller’s commitment to the program this April, head coach Coquese Washington described her as a “walking highlight” and one of the most exciting players she has seen play the game.

Teams competing in the Red Bull 3×3 will comprise three players plus a substitute. Games will be 10 minutes long with a running clock that will only be paused in the final minute of gameplay. Teams will be awarded a singular timeout that can be no longer than 30 seconds. Games will be to 21 and, in the event of a tie, the first team to score two points will be crowned the winner.

Additional members of Team WHN will be revealed later this week.
