MIAMI – Unrivaled, the new 3×3 league created by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, has continued making moves as they near their January 2025 start date.
The innovative league announced that Las Vegas Aces point guard Chelsea Gray would be their newest addition to the star studded roster.
Gray is the first non-founder athlete to be announced for Unrivaled, with 27 more to come as the league continues to build anticipation for its much awaited inaugural season.
Gray is a nine-year veteran in the WNBA who has made a strong impact on her teams since being drafted No. 11 overall in the 2014 WNBA draft by the Connecticut Sun.
In her first WNBA season, Gray averaged 6.9 points per game, 2.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Gray had her best statistical season in 2023 with the Aces where she averaged 15.3 points per game, 4.0 rebounds and 7.3 assists.
The three-time WNBA Champion has played 10 seasons with the Suns, Aces and Los Angeles Sparks. Over the years, she has earned several WNBA honors include Finals MVP (2022), five-time WNBA All-Star (2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023), All-WNBA First Team (2019), two-time All-WNBA Second Team (2017, 2023), WNBA Commissioner’s Cup MVP (2022), among others.
This season, Gray is averaging 8.1 points per game, 2.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists with the No. 3 Aces.
Gray and the Aces will take on the Atlanta Dream at the Gateway Center Arena Friday, July 12 with tipoff beginning at 7:30 P.M. ET. The game can be streamed with WNBA League Pass.
