Caitlin Clark & Paige Bueckers Are The Only Gatorade College Basketball Athletes

Only a handful of college athletes have the honor of being sponsored by Gatorade and Caitlin Clark is the latest addition to their impressive roster of NIL deals. Clark joins UConn Women’s basketball guard Paige Bueckers, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Penn State running back Nick Singleton.

The deal was announced today in a video starring Clark which takes viewers through her basketball journey as one of the most popular female athletes in this generation. The ad called “You Can Too” — shares an inspiring message to female athletes and young hoopers across the world.

“This partnership is special because not only does Gatorade fuel the best athletes in the game, but they’re also committed to leading by example and giving back, which is what I strive to do every day,” Clark said in a statement. “I’m honored to join such an iconic brand that has some of the most elite athletes in sport on their roster and can’t wait for what’s ahead.” 

In partnering with Clark and Bueckers, Gatorade has show it’s commitment to investing in women’s hoops. In addition to the sponsorship, Gatorade donated $22,000 to the Caitlin Clark Foundation which focuses on empowering youth through sport.

Paige Bueckers was the first college athlete in history to sign with Gatorade in 2021 in a multi-year deal.
