CHICAGO – The Chicago stop of Megan Thee Stallion and Glorilla’’s ‘Hot Girl Summer Tour’ saw familiar faces when Angel Reese and other members of the Chicago Sky joined the rappers on stage Sunday night.
Reese’s stage appearance came after posting 11 points, 9 rebounds and 1 steal in the Sky’s game against the Dallas Wings on Saturday.
Reese previously stated during the Sky’s media day events that along with Michael Jordan, Megan Thee Stallion is one of the celebrities she’d most like to meet.
Before dancing with the rapper on stage, Reese and Megan Thee Stallion met up backstage to record a tiktok for Reese’s page.
The 14 second video featured Reese and the rapper lip syncing to her song “Girls in the Hood” captioned “hi twinnnn! THE MF STALLIONS”.
The Sky will travel to New York to face off against the Liberty Thursday, May 23 in a rematch of their May 7 game which was won handily by the Sky 101-53. Tipoff will begin at 7 p.m. ET.
